Q. 1   Suppose you are a TV program producer. By using the basic ingredients of TV production, you are required to construct a proper program proposal which will highlight the Dengue Virus Issue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa:

Language:      Urdu/Eglish/Pashto Language.During program mostly,Urdu languagewill be used. Additionally, English and Pushto language might also be included in the program for the specific and particular comprehension and communication of message during the program.

Genre:            Tragedybecause scattering of Dengue disease among the whole province is tragic situation. The program genre will also be educational, informational and motivational.

Frequency:     Rate of telecast Program casting will be onDailybasis till the elimination of the Dengue Virus from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Duration:       Total period of the program will be10-15 minutes

Format:          Complete arrangement, sequence and ordering of program for appearance of the tenants, performer and participants as per plan. Firstly, with the appearance of Host of the program, the session will be started from Introduction of guests Doctor, representative from health department, political representative, Government official and further discussion will be started.

Theme:           The main purpose of this program will be to educate and create awareness among the general public regarding safety measures and protection tips from Dengue Virus. People will be informed through this program about the location of the health center which are doing medical treatment of Dengue Virus so that public can easily and well in time approach to Dengue treatment center and can get the medical treatment.It will be initiated in the program that government should provide free Dengue test facilitiesand medical treatment to Dengue affected patients and health authorities & government should take instantly necessary action in this regard. We will also highlight the weak areas and carelessness of the health authorities during the program for their improvement and better performance in respect of Dengue disease.Moreover, specialist doctors will elaborate their role for eradication of disease from the area and also will give their expert opinion and indicate the symptoms of dengue virus that how itdevelops in the human body and how to take preventive measure to be safe from this disease. Moreover, in the program political official will discuss about the critically required resources and facilities regarding the elimination of Dengue Virus from the province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in all respect. Furthermore, officials of the government will disclose their performances, activities and facilities provided to people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa related to dengue virus.

Q. 2   How will you plan the production phase for a children program for Pakistan television

Planning television program for children is one of the best and unpretentiousmethods of storytelling as it is unrestricted of any skepticism. As a producer planning the production phase for children is not arelaxedjob and producer have to pass through the brain storming process while planning and preparing the show. The planning of such type of program entail the same amount of scriptwriting capabilities and expertise as planning of any other programs such asnews program, current affair program, religious program, women program, film making or dramas etc. Being a producer, youshould beproficient to plan and write a script of a children’s TV program with a bestspinning point and encounter the requirements of kids then they will bewaitenthusiastically and excitedly to view your program.

Following are some point and tips for planning and scriptwriting for children television programs:

(a)        Be childish. Become a childish enough and you constantlyrelishundertaking things that children do. There is no requirementof any stimulation for scripting of kids. You simplyrequire to be a kid yourself to comprehend their level of needs and consideration.
